What this site stores, what it does not, and what happens when you follow a link to OurDream.

The short version
This site is a set of static pages, with one exception: the contact form. It has no accounts, no comments, no login and no database. We do not know who you are and we have no way to find out.
What is stored on your device
Two values, both in your browser's local storage, both readable only by this site:
age-ok— records that you confirmed you are 18 or over, so the age notice does not reappear on every page.sidebar-collapsed— remembers whether you collapsed the navigation.
Neither is a cookie, neither is sent to any server, and clearing your browser data removes both. There is no analytics script and no advertising tag on this site.
Links to OurDream
Links to OurDream carry a tracking code so that a subscription can be attributed to this site. Following one takes you to OurDream, at which point their privacy policy applies and ours stops. We receive aggregate referral information — that a subscription happened — and never your identity, your email address or anything you do on their platform.
Why this exists at all is explained on the about page.
Fonts and hosting
The two typefaces are served from this domain, not from a third-party font service, so loading a page does not tell anyone else that you visited it. No external scripts are loaded from anywhere.
The contact form
If you use the contact form, what you type — your name, your email address and your message — is sent to a mailbox we read. Two more things are attached automatically: the IP address the message came from and the time it was sent. Both exist only to stop the form being used for spam.
None of it goes into a database, because there is no database. Your address is used to reply to you and for nothing else: no mailing list, no forwarding to anyone, no marketing.
Contact
Questions about any of the above go to the contact page.
